Allycia Hellen Rodrigues extended her reign as the division’s most dominant striker with a devastating performance against Marie McManamon.
The ONE Women’s Atomweight Muay Thai World Champion revved into full gear to score a fourth-round TKO in the main event of ONE Fight Night 29 on Prime Video. The event aired live in U.S. primetime on March 7 from the historic Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

From the start, the stoic Brazilian teased McManamon with jabs and push kicks. Her subtle tactics drew a reaction from the debuting Irish-English challenger, and Rodrigues turned her foe’s counters against her in round two.
Then in round three, things intensified.
Rodrigues cornered McManamon and hit her with left and right punches that must’ve felt like pneumatic pistons because the latter desperately tried to defend, yet had to answer an eight-count courtesy of a thudding left hook.

Rodrigues drastically improved while McManamon dramatically withered in round four. The World Champion blitzed her wilting opponent and continued to change the landscape of her brows, forehead, and eyes with piercing elbows and punches.
These were the scenes at a jan sampark rally in Kheema Kheri village of Haryana’s Julana constituency, where multiple Commonwealth Games medal winner, Phogat, is contesting the upcoming assembly elections on October 5. Elderly men in turbans, khap (clan-based councils) members and women swathed in dupattas filled the venue. As Phogat’s convoy arrived, young girls and budding wrestlers were pushed forward to greet their “role model”. The music switched to the cheerful Congress campaign song: “Vinesh Phogat aagyi re (Vinesh Phogat has arrived).”
At the end of the round, the doctor inspected McManamon while she sat on the stool, and he advised referee Olivier Coste to call off the fight – the official time being 3:00 of round four.

With the impressive win, Rodrigues improved to 34-7 overall, defended her strap for the third time, and bagged a US$50,000 performance bonus from ONE Chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong.
